We breed a carefully planned litter every year or two with the intent of keeping a puppy to show. Mom and puppies spend the first 3 weeks in my kitchen being coddled and spoiled. Then, when the pups are a bit more independent, they spend a few hours outside every day playing in their shaded, misted, astro-turfed puppy yard, and come back in to a puppy pen in the house overnight. They receive daily socialization and stimulation from regularly varying sources.
